Asian Art

Art in the forms of ceramics, carvings, metalwork, painting and architecture has been produced in China and Japan for thousands of years with some of the earliest artifacts dating back to 10,000 ? 7, 500 B.C. Chinese art has consistently shown a great degree of variety both regionally and over time, while ancient stylistic traditions still assert a strong influence in the art from Japan.
